Tenor saxophonist Ivo Perelman's album was recorded in 1998 with Joseph Scianni on piano and Jay Rosen on drums. Liner notes for this CD have been written by Eleanor Heartney, a New York-based art critic & contributing editor to "Art In America." Why? What does an art critic have to do with music? It transpires that Ivo is an artist whose paintings are beginning to find their way into galleries, and three of them are printed in the booklet.
