The 4th volume in this much acclaimed Glenn Miller series presents two complete "I Sustain The Wings" broadcasts from Sept. 25 & Oct. 16, 1943. The sound quality is even better than the previous three, and the band was in top form (listen to the audience reaction) with such numbers as "Caribbean Clipper," "Tuxedo Junction," "It Must Be Jelly" & some medleys. The highlight of the second show is the very first broadcast of the band's new vocalist Johnny Desmond.
