This Palermo, Italy-based worldbeat group took their name from the Latin expression for "song of the wheat fields". Their instrumention includes vocals, mandolins, sitar, keyboard, samples, guitar, bass & other stringed instruments, and a dizzying array of percussion instruments. Their music combines African & a wide assortment of other traditional world music forms from across the globe, as well as club-ready electronic dance grooves, producing a compelling juxtaposition between old & new.
