When Britain's most brilliant musical export, Victor Feldman, returned to London in November, 1956, he envisaged a complete rest after some hard work in the U.S. with Woody Herman. When he left London Airport the following January, he badly needed a holiday to recover from all the time spent in Decca's West Hampstead studio through December. This CD reissue constitutes the results of his first Tempo record dates, two with a quartet & five days afterwards the "Nine-tet".
