Two broadcasts from Feb. 1940 & Aug. 1942 feature the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra from the period referred to as "The Frank Sinatra Years". The first from the opening night at the Meadowbrook also features a rare vocal outing by Jo Stafford of the Pied Pipers, and the second is from the stage at the Capitol Theatre, Washington D.C. Both shows represent a sample of Tommy's prodigious musical output during a period that collectors regard as his most exciting.
