Rev. Cecil Williams of the Glide Memorial United Methodist Church in San Francisco leads his glorious 125 voice ensemble & the Change Band through a selection of spiritual songs. When Williams led the first Glide Celebration in 1963, he planted the seeds of a new kind of spiritual movement, one devoted to championing the rights of all people. This was recorded during two live concerts, and produced by Jeffrey Wood & David Luke at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The ensemble draws on jazz, R&B & even hip-hop to spread Glide's message of hope.
