This is the second album from this quartet, which is based in L.A. & fronted by the nephew of Chris Hillman (the Byrds, Flying Burrito Bros., Desert Rose Band). Sid's brand of American music doesn't easily fit into any modern music box. Their slow-burning music evokes images of a late night drive through the desert - dry & sparse, until the honest nature of Sid's lyrics flows through in a flash flood of warmth. Features guest Jay Dee Maness (Byrds) on steel guitar. One song from "Volume Two" has been picked for the upcoming Richard Gere movie "The Mothman Prophecies."
