British electric guitar fusion virtuoso Allan Holdsworth began playing with progressive rock bands Gong and Soft Machine in the '70s, later becoming a sideman with the Tony Williams Lifetime and Bill Bruford. Holdsworth's melodic and precise style draws much inspiration from jazz horn phrasing. This is a re-release of Allan's classic 6 track E.P., out of print since 1983 (the E.P. has never been released on CD). Features bassist Jeff Berlin, drummer Chad Wackerman & vocalist Jack Bruce.
