This album was originally recorded for MasterSound, a label owned by Atlanta's most respected recording engineer. To bring the album to CD length, selections were added from a session recorded at the Big Horn, owned by Jazzology's George H. Buck Jr. It was an underground Atlanta club where Duncan led one of the regularly-featured bands. Here, Duncan plays hot, swinging, classic modern Chicago-style jazz trumpet in the Condon mode. None of this material has been issued before on any Jazzology label.
