A welcome return to catalogue for the two albums Henry Gross recorded for the Lifesong label - 1976's "Release" and the following year's "Show Me To The Stage". Having appeared at Woodstock with Sha Na Na, Gross left to pursue a solo career, first with ABC and then with A&M. "Release" includes the single 'Shannon', a homage to the Beach Boys, inspired by a lunch with Carl Wilson, whose subject is the death of a pet dog. The single reached #6 in the US and went Top 40 in the UK. Gross has kindly provided us with many beautiful items from his own collection of photographs and memorabilia so this booklet will be of particular interest to all his fans.
