26 track compilation contains the complete King recordings of this bonafide legend of Post-WWII blues shouting, brought together in one package for the first time. If not as prolific, Eddie Vinson was as big a star in his heyday - the period covered by these recordings - as his label-mates Wynonie Harris and Roy Brown, and remained a popular draw on the blues circuit right up to his death in 1988. These tracks were cut from 1949-52, and include the sequel to his classic "Cherry Red" and - a real treat for collectors - a previously unissued (and once thought lost) original version of the Wynonie Harris hit, "Sittin' On It All The Time".
