Flowing from the tide of the Nu-Asian Underground, "Reflections" is a new CD by the ensemble named Reflections which performs compositions by leader Friedel Lelonek, Equal I and Osmani Sound, a DJ crew based in London. Influenced heavily by the sounds of the Middle East, Nu-Asian music originated in London and contains sampled sounds in a wide range of styles and tempos from both East and West, mixed into an ambient Worldbeat stew that's perfect to chill out to. A talented turntablist in his own right, Lelonek has appeared at many of the world's great Global Underground clubs and events. This compilation is a reflection of his talents as a producer and DJ.
