This is the first volume in Ace's new mid-price series based on the 12 LPs that were released by Crown Records from 1957-63 (original cover art will be used). In addition, there will be bonus tracks that are designed to include those B.B. tracks from the Ace archives not previously available on CD. The classic 1960 album "My Kind Of Blues" shows B.B. in elegant form, singing his favorite blues songs with a small group accompaniment, led by the wonderful Lloyd Glenn on piano. The bonus tracks are in a similar vein and include five previously unissued numbers and two alternate cuts. Of special interest is the inclusion of "Blues At Sunrise," the first song B.B. performed on radio in 1948. Compiled and annotated by John Broven. Contains 18 tracks.
