(2-CD set) 51 track set contains magnificent southern soul recordings for Buddy Killen's Dial Records of Nashville, made from 1963-75. The biggest Dial hitmaker was soul supremo Joe Tex, and his biggest hits are here, headed by "Hold What You've Got" and "I Gotcha." In addition, there are four of his rare early sides that are new to CD, including the in-demand "I Wanna Be Free." The CD is full of cult records by Paul Kelly, the Dialtones, Little Archie, Frederick Knight, Len Wade, Chris Harris and Annette Snell.
