The third volume in Ace's new mid-price series is based on B.B. King's original Crown LPs with bonus tracks. The prophetically titled "King Of The Blues" album was released in 1960, with orchestration by the incomparable Maxwell Davis. The generous 10 bonus tracks feature no less than nine Kent singles from the 1960s that are new to CD. Included are "I Can't Lose," the much-requested flipside of "Rock Me Baby," and the rare re-recording of "3 O'Clock Blues." Compiled and annotated by John Broven.
