Rocky Sharpe & The Replays had seven hits in the U.K., the biggest, "Rama Lama," made the Top 20 in the U.K. The band's brand of doo wop pop was enormously successful in the late '70s and early '80s, and in Europe they had Top 5 chart entries in Spain, Germany and the Netherlands. This 1980 album gets its first U.K. release on CD. Many of the tracks have been unavailable for a long time, and some are entirely new to CD. In addition to the LP, included are three 45-only bonus tracks and a previously unreleased version of "Martian Hop."
