Tunnels has spent the last year touring extensively and this recording is a reflection of this intense touring schedule. After three studio recordings, it made sense to put together a live album, as the spontaneity in performance is the true spirit of Tunnels. Half of this CD features Tunnels as a trio with Percy Jones (an original member of Brand X) on fretless bass, Marc Wagnon who has been one of the pioneers in the use of the midi vibes, and Frank Katz, with his powerful and unique drumming style. The rest of the CD features special guests, amongst them are: violinist Mark Feldman, John Goodsall (original guitarist of Brand X) and guitarist Van Manakas.
