Maxine Sullivan's light, swinging vocal style was a perfect fit to the big and small bands that she performed with. She came to fame with Claude Thornhill's big band in the '40s, performing Scottish songs in a swing style but she quickly broke out of performing novelty songs to become a respected jazz stylist but also maintained her interest in unusual material. This 25 track CD features "Loch Lomond," "Annie Laurie," "Blue Skies," "Easy To Love" and others.
