Vibraphonist Steve Hobbs leads an all star line-up in this set of original compositions and standards. Featured on this album are: Tom Harrell (trumpet and flugelhorn), Bob Maloch (tenor saxaphone), Dave Valentin (flute), Bill O'Connell (piano), Peter Washington (bass), John Riley (drums) and Steve Barrios (percussion). The lyricism and intensity of Tom Harrell (playing on 7 of 10 tracks) is well known and is complemented by Hobb's swinging style and original compositions. Latin jazz veteran Bill O'Connell also contributes three of his own works to the effort.
