This is a fantastic 1985 'comeback' album from one of the legendary names in rockabilly, making its CD debut after nearly 20 years. Backed by the UK's own Johnny and the Roccos - whose own 1985 album was recorded at just about the same time, forming the second half of this CD - Cochran was still in fantastic vocal form when Mike Vernon took him into the studio to record these cuts - all of which were specially composed for the session. The original two albums featured here are augmented by both sides of a rare Roccos 45 and the band's storming, previously-unissued take on "Matchbox," recorded for, but omitted from, the "Tearin' Up The Border" album.
