The music on this CD sees a new trend creeping into the Honeydrippers' music -- the female vocalist. First, Candy Rivers duets with Joe on "Daddy On My Mind." "Little Joe's Boogie," a direct descendant of 1945's "The Honeydripper," peaked at #5 in Jan. 1951, and this was succeeded in the chart by the attractive Frankie Lee (#9) the following month.
