(2-CD set) This compilation gives a sample of some of Adrian Rollini's more obscure recording dates from 1929-33, as well as all of the recordings issued under Rollini's name which were made between Feb. 1933 and May 1934. During the 1930s, Rollini was a sideman on numerous recording dates. He was also the nominal leader of groups assembled only for recording sessions: the resulting titles from 1933-34 made for the American Record Corporation ('ARC') are on this CD.
