Shelly Lee Alley and his Alley Cats were a superb, swinging group, and they were one of the best bands in Texas playing Western Swing. Alley wrote many of the romping, risqué titles on this CD. Plenty of "names" are featured here, including Cliff Bruner, Ted Daffan, Deacon Evans, Leon Selph, and future Cajun star Harry Choates on electric guitar.
