This is the debut full length album from the Freddie Steady 5. The group was formed from the remnants of singer/songwriter Freddie "Steady" Krc's longtime former group The Shakin' Apostles. For this release, native Texan Freddie Steady collected 16 of his fave timeless 1960's Texas rock 'n' roll songs to cover, including "Wooly Bully," "Western Union" and "Not Fade Away." He also wrote two songs titled "Pirate for Your Love" and "We're The Bulldogs" especially for this project. Freddie then gathered together some of his former bandmates from his Jr. High and High School groups (The Sound Kings, Bird Dog Houston and The Brethren) to record the two bonus tracks with him. The recording is a mix of familiar hits and obscure, undiscovered classics.
