Lorez was one of the mod jazz scene's most revered female singers. These two albums were both released in the U.K. in the 1950s - although one only in the format as 3 EPs - and both have been unavailable for 50 years. One of the many highlights is Lorez' original recording of her big club favorite 'Baltimore Oriole.' The all-star musicians heard across these two albums include Eldee Young (later of the Ramsey Lewis Trio and his own Young-Holt Unlimited), Charles Stepney (founder member of both Rotary Connection and Earth, Wind & Fire) and Paul Serrano (future engineer on many '60s Chicago soul classics). Precious few of the the late singer's albums have ever found their way onto CD.
