By the time this concert was recorded, Joe Cocker was coming to the end of a two-and-a-half year period during which he was without a recording contract, and in some cases, back to playing clubs. However, during this period Joe recorded "I'm So Glad I'm Standing Here Today" with The Crusaders and was nominated for a Grammy. Riding the wave of this newfound notoriety, Joe embarked on a world tour and recorded this album in New York. This is the first full concert recording of this particular period of Joe's career. Includes classics like "With A Little Help From My Friends," "You Are So Beautiful," "Hitchcock Railway," "The Letter" and a version of Dave Mason's "Feelin' Alright."
