This is an extremely rare film of never before seen footage on DVD documenting the styles of New Orleans piano players such as Manuel Manetta, Richard M. Jones, Alton Purnell, Fats Pichon, Burnell Santiago and many others. There are also sections on Joe Robichaux, including a never before heard Decca recording of his band at the Rhythm Club in 1936. Introduced by New Orleans pianist Rickie Monie, this film documents many of the originators of the style in words and music.
