Troy Shondell was one of the scores of teenage heartthrobs who ruled the charts in the early years immediately before The Beatles. The title track sold a million copies in 1961, reaching #5 in America. Troy's material displays a keen understanding of the bluesier elements of what was known at the time as "Swamp Pop" and as such has perhaps dated less than many of his contemporaries work. A couple of tracks were produced by the young Phil Spector, in the early part of his career. The package comes complete with a fully annotated 12 page booklet which includes many rare photos.
