This is a collection of the Columbia, Date and Fraternity recordings of Cincinnati's top 1960s girl group, featuring all of the trio's northern soul favorites and some great examples of their work as back-up singers. This compilation features the distinctive tones of Lonnie Mack with the Charmaines as his backing group as well as the girls on their own. Over half the tracks are new to CD, including four previously unreleased tracks, including 'I Don't Wanna Lose Him', which some DJs regard as one of the best of all unreleased Northern Soul sides.
