Yellowcake is an electro-acoustic improvisation trio featuring Gino Robair on percussion and analog synthesizer, Jacob Lindsay on clarinet and Scott Looney on laptop computer. The music is reminiscent of '60s era John Cage and David Tudor, with a combination of electronics and acoustic instruments. Gino Robair has recorded and performed with Tom Waits, Anthony Braxton, John Zorn, Eugene Chadbourne, Lou Harrison and Terry Riley. Jacob Lindsay has performed with a number of European improvisers including Wolfgang Fuchs and Joelle Leandre.
