This is a fresh collection of music that was freely improvised by a varied group of musicians with backgrounds in Indian music, jazz and Western classical music. The music is eclectic and ranges from the exotic to the meditative to experimental. All the music was performed at a spiritual ashram and imbibes a devotional feeling. The featured instruments are flute (both western flute and bamboo flute), keyboards and cello. From the opening Chinese-like theme to the meditative piano and then other experimental pieces, these fresh improvisations are unique and out of the ordinary in seamlessly flowing between vast world music traditions.
