A collection of recordings made by British trumpet player Keith Smith with New Orleans clarinetist George Lewis and Norfolk, Virginia trombonist Jimmy Archey. The CD begins with Smith performing with Lewis' Jazz Band in New Orleans, April 1965 - tracks featured are Thriller Rag, B Flat Blues, Get Out Of Here, Blues In E Flat and You Can't Escape From Me (Takes 1 & 2). Then there are four tracks from Smith with Jimmy Archey's Hot Six, recorded in New York in 1966 - Original Dixieland One Step, Franklin St Blues, Weary Blues and Kid Sonny's Blues.
