The fourth and sixth of Johnny Tillotson's seven MGM albums, issued on CD for the first time ever and mastered directly from Johnny's own original master tapes. Collectively, these two albums show that Johnny was more than capable of maintaining a career in the face of the rise of Beatlemania. Mostly recorded in Nashville and New York and featuring songs by writers of the calibre of Paul Evans, PF Sloan, Wayne Carson Thompson and Howard Greenfield & Jack Keller, this adds up to a lot of classy mid 60s American pop that can stand strong against Ace's earlier Tillotson 'twofer's. Only three of the 24 tracks have appeared on Ace CDs before.
