This release mixes evocative lyrical content with elements of reggae, hip-hop, funk, World, African and Sephardic chants to form a well-produced set of unique tri-lingual originals. Maimon teamed up with Ronnie "Stepper" McQueen (original Steel Pulse member) to forge the sound at the legendary Radio Recorders Studio in Hollywood and the result is a highly-anticipated tonic for their extensive fan base. The sound varies from high energy horn-centered tracks to one-drop rhythms with French lyrics. Reggae and its roots in rebellion fuel songs as well as breakbeats and lyrics delivered in a rap cadence. The group formed in Montreal as Geoulah and this is their second release.
