Trumpet player Maxwell Price and his quintet featuring Byron Pope on alto saxophone and pianist Eric Ildefonse have created a record incorporating elements of Caribbean folk music with jazz improvisation to form a uniquely flavored musical brew. Tracks include Brazilian Masquerade, Mazurka Dance, Poufezopale and Cuernavaca Serenade.
