(2-LP set) October File finally release their long awaited and in some quarters highly anticipated second album. A raging assault on the senses from start to finish (with Jaz Coleman from Killing Joke adding his dulcet tones). Musically, October File deliver an even heavier and direct approach than the highly rated last EP. Dark, aggressive angular and downright angry are the closest descriptions. Lyrically the band have the balls to say what's on their mind, subjects such as climate change, war, corruption and religion all get the treatment, some more than other. Songs about girls, having fun and how cool summer is just didn't make the album. Gatefold sleeve.
