Lenaghan's rich voice, mandolin, guitar, flute and tin whistle have graced the airs and stages of the world for three decades. Noel was heavily influenced by the musical renaissance that took place during the 60's and 70's in Ireland. Noel's own songs and tunes are born out of real life, never sentimental but always true to the pain of loss and death and the harsh reality of existence. There is a bittersweet quality to all of the lyrics, expressed in vivid imagery reminiscent of the Gaelic song tradition.
