Franco Tamponi's splendid soundtrack to Mino Loy's (Donan J. Lee) 1962 original 'shock-u-mentary' "Mondo Sexy di Notte" ("Mondo Sexuality"), which portrayed cabaret shows from all over the world (although many of the locations are thought to have been reconstructed in the studio), presenting an exotic sensuality that once upon a time represented a form of transgression in the film world, reserved for an adult audience only. Also, for the younger listeners perhaps it will be surprising not to hear the sound of any electronic instrument here, but this was the era when the orchestra reigned supreme. Lovingly restored from the original session tapes.
