Roger Glenn was one of the regular session crew for the Mizell brothers as they cut a swathe through early 70s jazz-funk with their production work for Donald Byrd, Bobbi Humphrey and Johnny Hammond . Glenn, a talented vibes player and flautist, appeared on some of the biggest jazz records of the decade, such as Donald Byrd's "Blackbyrd" and Johnny Hammond's "Gears". 1976 release Reachin' is the least well known of Mizell's sought after productions. It is a more latin influenced LP than many of their other recordings.
