Through a series of personal and business interactions, Bay Area natives Band-Aide and Scoot Dogg came together for their 2005 debut as The HoodStarz with the ability to mesh street credible song writing with witty, fun-laden lyrics. With the new CD "Controversy", their newest release in two years, The Hoodstarz traveled to Atlanta to work with the super hot team Zaytoven & Gucci Mane and then on to L.A. working with platinum producer David Banner. The first single "Laughin'" is already building momentum with fans. The Hoodstarz are joined by Gucci Mane, E-40, Red Cafe, Messy Marv & more on "Controversy"!
