(3-CD set) The first of three 3-CD sets containing all of Red Nichols' New York Brunswick recordings, including the Wabash Dance Orchestra titles released only in England. This series includes all known takes and was remastered by Ted Kendall. The 72-page booklet common to all three sets contains extensive liner notes by Richard Sudhalter and a complete discography. In addition to Nichols, the cream of the New York jazzmen are featured on these sides, including Miff Mole, Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Jack Teagarden, Fud Livingston and many others.
