"Love, Sex And The Zodiac" is one of the great jazz saxophonist's later albums. After playing on Miles Davis' "Kind Of Blue", he became one of the most influential bandleaders, and, in collaboration with producer David Axelrod, made some outstanding albums such as "Country Preacher" and this one. Using his regular band which included his brother Nat and George Duke, the album is built on a solid jazz soul groove, over which narrator Rick Holmes intones the sexual needs of the signs of the Zodiac.
