Mads Tolling, internationally renowned violinist is a two time Grammy Award-Winner and a member of Turtle Island Quartet and Stanley Clarke Band. "Celebrating Jean-Luc Ponty - Live At Yoshi's" is Tolling's third CD release in his own name. Tolling pays homage to his mentor, the great French jazz violinist, Jean-Luc Ponty, who recommended him to Stanley Clarke a decade ago. Tolling does so with his quartet in an electric atmosphere at the famed Bay Area jazz club, Yoshi's.
