In 1972 Sonderdezernat K1, a greatly successful German crime series started on TV. The producer understood the importance of a good film score and engaged Martin Boettcher who had already created film music history with his music to the Karl May films. With the main title Boettcher realizes a groove monster laced with layered effects which catapults the characteristic 70s Boettcher-sound along with great energy. But there's much more notable music in the series: Reaching from suspense tracks over beat, easy-listening, jazz and bossa nova to even a disco funk vocal track. All 31 tracks are released for the very first time. The booklet comes with many film stills plus liner notes in German and English.
