As part of BGP’s reissue series of the Portland-raised, LA-based funk group Pleasure we release their fourth album “Get To The Feeling”. It follows our successful and critically-acclaimed issue of their first three titles that includes the all-time funk classic, “Joyous”. Produced as before by former Crusaders’ trombonist Wayne Henderson, the album continues the band’s exploration of jazz-tinged funkiness, and radio-friendly soul. It features the club favourites ‘Celebrate The Good Times’ and ‘Get To The Feeling’ as well as the wonderful jazz groove of ‘No Matter What’.
