Two rare Paul Evans albums (best known for the hit 'Seven Little Girls Sitting In The Back Seat', but an artist with far greater range than this hit might indicate) are compiled onto one CD, with a bonus track, 'Midnite Special'. John Fogerty has said Paul's version inspired him to record Creedence's version. "Folk Songs Of Many Lands" was released in 1961 as Carlton 12/130 and "21 Years in A Tennessee Jail" (a selection of traditional prison songs or those written in the traditional style) came out in 1964 on Kapp 3346.
