J.P. Robinson is an obscure but acclaimed soul singer who signed with T.K. Productions and released a string of popular singles on Alston, Atco and Blue Candle labels from 1968 to 1974. This compilation features all of his known T.K. Recordings: 20 tracks recorded in Miami and Muscle Shoals with T.K. staff producers Brad Shapiro, Steve Alaimo, Clarence Reid and Willie Clarke.
