Guitarist Frank Potenza was a protege of the late great Joe Pass so it is only fitting he delivers this tribute to the master guitarist. On For Joe, Potenza reunites Joe Pass' original group of John Pisano, Jim Hughart and Colin Bailey from the legendary "For Django" session. Tunes include the title track from Pass' first recording, Catch Me and well as the title track from For Django plus Rosetta, A Foxy Chick and a Cool Cat, Voce, Fleur d'Ennui, Our Love is Here to Stay, Do Nothin' 'til You Hear From Me and Beautiful Love. Potenza contributes Blues For Joe for this date.
