Both men are in their way "the living embodiment of New Orleans culture" - Dr. John has brought his 'Night Tripper Gris Gris' to augment the Guardians of the Flame chants and tambourines with the Mardi Gras Indians inspired jazz saxophone of Donald Harrison, one of New Orleans' favorite sons. New Orleans unique milieu and underlying principles drive this session - "Coming from New Orleans it's just about having a good time with the music" says Donald and Dr. John agrees "Accidental stuff happens and it's better than anything you could plan."
