A belated release for 1978's "Let's Get Together" now means that all the Detroit Emeralds' albums are available on Westbound CDs. Towards the end of their career musical tastes were moving away from the sweet soul harmonies of their heyday and heading towards the sound of disco. To that end they employed the production skills of Mike Theodore and the cream of Detroit's session men, including Dennis Coffey. The LP was mixed by Tom Moulton.
